NASTC unveiled its “Driver Assessment Program” some months ago and we’re continuing to track its value. This behavior-based screening evaluation is available to members for $22.50 and we’re becoming more and more convinced you should include this tool in your driver screening process. Below are some statistical bench-marks from a staffing agency using a similar protocol:
3 – Star candidates score 17% higher on skill tests than the 1 and 2 star candidates
4 – Star candidates score 21% higher on skill tests than the 1 and 2 star candidates
5 – Star candidates score 35% higher on skill tests than the 1 and 2 star candidates
Regarding scores in relation to injuries:
1 & 2 – Star employees had 18 injuries and missed work or had restrictions a total of 423 days
3 - Star employees had 9 injuries and missed or had restrictions a total of 324 days
